The Le Maitre Aqua Pure is a professional low fog system delivering dense, consistent, ground-hugging fog without the need for CO₂, dry ice or a separate chiller.
Using only distilled water and specially formulated Aqua Pure Fog Fluid, Aqua Pure offers a simpler and more practical approach to creating spectacular low fog effects for theatres, live events, touring productions, film and television, theme parks, attractions and installations.
Built around patented low fog technology, Aqua Pure provides precise control over both the volume and height of the fog, from a dense layer that hugs the floor to elevated fog and cloud effects.
And unlike traditional low fog systems, there's no need to source, store or handle cylinders of CO₂ or dry ice.
At the heart of Aqua Pure is its dedicated fog fluid.

Aqua Pure Fog Fluid used alongside distilled water to produce a dense, clean effect with no sticky residue. Its clean formulation makes it ideally suited to live entertainment environments, where effects may be used around performers, audiences and crew.
There are no CO₂ cylinders to transport or replace, no dry ice to continually source and no external refrigeration or chiller system required.
Simply add distilled water and Aqua Pure Fog Fluid and you're ready to create professional low fog.
Aqua Pure has been engineered to maintain a dense, consistent low fog effect even in challenging environments.
The system has been tested in ambient temperatures of up to 37°C / 98°F, making it particularly suited to productions and venues where conventional low fog effects can struggle to remain close to the ground.
Fog output and height are both adjustable, allowing the operator to tailor the effect to the production rather than being limited to a single fixed low fog output.
Aqua Pure has been designed for professional production environments, with DMX and RDM as standard, alongside stand-alone and timer operating modes.
The pump, fan and water system can be controlled independently, giving operators precise control over the behaviour and appearance of the effect from the machine itself or via DMX.
Continuous high-output performance and quick-change fluid and water bottles also make Aqua Pure practical for demanding productions where the effect needs to run reliably over extended periods.
Aqua Pure isn't limited to producing ground-hugging fog.
Adjustable fog height allows the system to create airborne fog and cloud effects, while the machine can also operate as a conventional fog machine.
With the addition of an optional nozzle, Aqua Pure can even be configured to produce a fog screen, giving one system considerably more creative flexibility.
For installations where the machine needs to be positioned away from the effect, Aqua Pure also supports substantial ducting distances of up to 40 m / 134 ft horizontally and 20 m / 67 ft vertically.
