Remembering Jocelyn Winkless

It is with huge sadness that we announce the devastating news that one of our respected members of staff who recently left our employment, has died.

Jocelyn who had been with us for a number of years, was a larger than life character who worked tirelessly in the pursuit of perfection.  She was known for her forthright, no nonsense approach and for being vocal about how she hated waste and always wanted to save the company money by undertaking ‘best practices’ in all she did.   Her words to me on many occasions were ‘you’ve got a smashing business here and I really love my little job and coming to this place every day!’

Jocelyn, whose main duty for many years, was fusing one of our oldest and most popular lines, the pyroflash Theatrical flashes, worked with great diligence and speed and was incredibly particular about the work she undertook.  She never took shortcuts and we could always rely on her to produce quality, reliable products every time.

We were all deeply saddened and shocked to hear of her sudden death and she will be greatly missed by all of us, but most especially those she worked closely with on a day to day bases.  

We send our deepest sympathies to her husband, two children and grandchildren and all her extended family and close friends, at this incredibly difficult time. 

Jocelyn made an indelible mark on all of us during her time at LM.  May she rest in peace.
